In the third quarter of 2025, Canada’s used-car market remained surprisingly strong, with average transaction prices continuing to climb. According to AutoTrader’s Q3 Price Index:

The national average for used vehicles reached CA$36,911, up 3.2% year over year.

Used car resellers data similarly showed average used-car prices around CA$34,188 in September, reflecting broad upward pressure.

AutoTrader reported shrinking used-vehicle inventory across key segments.

In terms of popularity, five of the most-sought used models in Q3 2025 were:

1.Ford F-150

2. Honda Civic

3. Honda CR-V

4. Toyota Corolla

5. Toyota RAV4,

according to market analysis. The F-150, a perennial favorite, reclaimed its spot as Canada’s top-selling used model.

DATE: MARCH 2026 Based on Copart’s policies, any registered member—Basic or Premier—is permitted to visit a yard and inspect vehicles. Additionally, individuals who are not yet registered as full members can visit as Guest Members. If you are seeking third-party financing—meaning funds borrowed from a company independent of the vehicle dealer or auction—be aware that many major lenders consider these high-risk assets.  While most auto auctions require payment in full on the day of purchase, some specialized platforms in Canada have begun offering integrated financing options (such as floorplan credit) for their registered buyers as of 2026. Welcome in 2026 and as we learned today our vehicle was at the IAA yard purchased before Christmas 2025 and just after 11 days since day of the purchase we got a bill at  $500 for 11 days storage. This is 100% storage amount increase in comparison to last year. here is official info from IAA : It is the sole responsibility of each buyer to verify fees charged by IAA prior to incurring such charges. All fees are subject to change, and buyers should confirm the applicable fee before incurring such charges.
