This October auction prices slowly coming down because end of the year and your car will be year older in January 2024.

When buying your first project car we suggest to pick CLEAN TITLE  or NON-BRANDED  vehicles. Most of them have small repairable damage, don't require extensive frame work and welding and most of important : no structural safety certificate which is expensive. There are always bad examples of NON-BRANDED cars which does not follow that rule. For example today we saw 2016 Porsche Panamera with NON BRANDED tiltle but large damagage to the front. Always ask before you decide to buy. Check our website for contact info : www.auctioncars.ca

This is what is happening at the auto auctions this spring 2023:

  1. Prices of used vehicles are still high.
  2. Dealers buy used vehicles because they are affordable to mid-class customers, used vehicles hold value.
  3. Very cheap cars are hard to find. Good car deals are hard to find. Luxury and theft vehicles are easy to find but they are not easy to sell and dealers who bid on these cars have already customers willing to pay close to MSRP for a car which is not available at the new car dealer lot.

On Nov 1 2022 we will bid on 2022 Ford Escape. Rear fixable damage with clean title and very economic and stylish vehicle. We promote vehicle recycling. Hundreds of cars weekly are written off due to a small repairable damages. Purchasing these cars at fraction of the cost of new vehicle and fixing it is a good thing to for our planet Earth.

Commercial vans at Canadian auto auctions – SEPTEMBER 2022

We were watching live auctions from Manheim Toronto at the end of August 2022. They had several 2020 GMC Savana 2500 – commercial vans for sale. These vans sell at almost $50000CAD+TAX wholesale. It is hard to believe that 2 year old work van with about 30000km – 50000km could sell that high. Dealers have to sell for more to make a profit on it.
